ABSTRACT
The chapter focuses on Walter Chipambwa’s journey in the textile industry from 2007 to 2023. The chapter covers various projects carried out in the industry and his experiences in academia regarding net zero. The chapter covers various processes and projects done in a wet processing textile plant and various ideas implemented to reduce the impact of textile products on the environment. The chapter discusses the shift from industry to joining academia, where his interests broadened to cover computer-aided design, product design, upcycling, sustainability, innovation, and material science.
