ABSTRACT
Promoting real and effective Meaningful Stakeholder Engagement for solving disputes is more important than ever in the contemporary world, given the impact multinational corporations and global financial institutions have on people’s lives. In this practice note, I shed light on the Bralima/Heineken case, initiated by three former employees of Bralima in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as an example of conflict resolution using the Framework of OECD National Contact Points.
