ABSTRACT
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) Universities Win–Win Partnership Program is a grant funded, field-based model of rural agricultural development and partnership with the Global Association of the Master of Development Practice (MDP) programs and their students. From 2016 to 2020, MDP students contributed to research projects in various IFAD sites worldwide, addressing complex challenges in rural agricultural communities in the Global South. This partnership led to the creation of reports, analyses, and recommendations. This case study contributes to the literature on field experiences in rural agricultural communities in the Global South and highlights the unique experiences and contributions of mid-level professionals from the Global South.
