ABSTRACT

For nearly three years, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the lives of millions of children around the world. Many lost critical support for their learning and well-being. For many young children, from birth to eight years, COVID-19 compounded existing situations of internal and external displacement resulting from conflict, climate change, and other factors. At the same time, this period has spurred a great deal of innovation and learning about how to continue to support young children during. Unfortunately, much of this innovation and learning is not being published, especially from Global South authors or those based in and working in the Global South. This has resulted in a huge gap in evidence and learning. This book aims to fill this gap with voices and learnings from the Global South.
