ABSTRACT
Powered by new knowledge and tools, this concluding chapter reflects on the research programme, and discusses how the future of neighbourhood design, redevelopment, and community living can be enhanced by more diverse offerings. Discussion is also extended to policy implications, which are illustrated through new housing policies targeted at ageing demography, diversifying housing options, redefining town classification, and community enablement. The chapter showcases selected housing studio projects from Singapore and Finland to highlight transferable knowledge and strategies, and to serve as inspiration to leverage on new data-driven strategies to create more inclusive and resilient neighbourhoods and communities.
