The chapter outlines the methodology adopted in curating this publication. The publication aims to explore the evolution of Landscape Architecture education in Portugal, the enduring influences of key figures like Cabral and Sousa da Câmara, pivotal milestones shaping the field, and the relevance of this overall history in confronting contemporary challenges. Structured in three thematic blocks, the call for papers attracted contributions from diverse perspectives and expertise. The rigorous selection process involved a double-blind peer review by an international scientific committee, resulting in 19 relevant contributions. This comprehensive compilation offers diverse insights on Portuguese Landscape Architecture that serve as a valuable resource for students, educators, and researchers in the field and beyond, fostering critical thinking and collaboration for a future that aspires for resilient, human, and beautiful landscapes.
