ABSTRACT

This chapter explains the research approach and data analysis procedures undertaken with children, families, educators, Industry Partners, and Participating Organisations via a cultural study of technologies to identify the valued digital practices enacted and shared amongst participants. Participatory design is identified as the methodology, and two Phases of the project, including Enacting and Sharing practices, are explained. Approaches to data generation and analysis are detailed, and 19 practices confirmed as those identified as enacted and shared amongst participants in all four Investigations comprising the broader study, including those of Relationships, Health and Wellbeing, Citizenship, and Play and Pedagogy, are explained.
