ABSTRACT

This chapter provides an overview of the role that the spatial analysis, which has been conducted at the beginning of the project, played for front-runner (FRC) and follower (FC) cities’ implementation processes. The methodology used for the spatial analysis is presented in a synthetic but comprehensive way, describing the typology of data collected by the cities as well as the step-by-step process followed. Finally, outcomes and usefulness of spatial analysis for each city are provided, pointing out what have been the critical factors and how these outputs can be further used.
