ABSTRACT
In the chapter dedicated to media usage, we discuss the relation of media usage to deliberative communication. The media usage chapter follows the unifying layout for all the others in the second book. In the chapter's introduction, we situate the dimension concerning deliberative communication, followed by the theoretical exposition of the dimension's conceptualization. Using the country case studies, we reflect on the findings of the individual countries from a broader and comparative perspective, considering the different historical, societal, and cultural development of each.
