ABSTRACT
Sustainable finance has become a key concern in the global policy agenda, particularly following the adoption of the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda and the Paris Agreement. Under Article 2(1) (c), the Agreement calls for “making financial flows consistent with a pathway towards low greenhouse gas emissions and climate resilient development.” The EU strongly supports this ambition.
