ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines an example of forum play around the issue of future energy practices. This forum play starts with a short performance which demonstrates a social problem related to future energy practices, such as fuel poverty or the fact that people who suffer most from the energy crises are also the ones who have to carry the largest burden. The play is repeated and then allows the audience to join the play. Through forum play, the spectators create and experience different perspectives on a problem situation. This chapter also includes the description of a suitable icebreaker called “Person, House, Hurricane”. This is an interactive game that is easy and fun to play even for adult learners.
