ABSTRACT
In the Pauline writings, we do not find an explicit theology of work. Nevertheless, this thought does exist, dispersed and hidden in the great fields of Pauline theology. We refer the reality of work to the action of man, but, together with it, the mind of the person who works is of vital importance. Paul speaks about the building of the Church and of the new man. This essay seeks to unite these two expressions and offer a definition of work, focusing in a special way on the worker who is renewed and transformed by the action of the Holy Spirit.
