ABSTRACT
This essay will introduce the contributions in this book section by Jesus Lara, Rosanne Haggerty, and Ethan Kent, as well as provide my own input into the transformation of space into place through co-creative placemaking. The introduction is divided into smaller subsections that highlight some common and key themes addressed by each of the contributors.
