ABSTRACT

Models are crucial tools for analysing scenarios, identifying optimal pathways and informing strategies to address complex issues. Various models are used for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Models within the SDG framework promote systems thinking and provide insights into the complex pathways of impacts, interdependencies and ripple effects of policies across various subsystems. Although models have their limitations and require further improvements, the current models offer valuable insights that can help accelerate progress towards the SDGs.
