ABSTRACT
This essay seeks to assert a trans decoloniality, not through the inclusion of transgender people into decolonial methods but rather to think through a vitiation of the body and, too, of a standpoint. To do this, the chapter moves through the relationship between the Derridean concept of monolingualism and the gender binary, the ways “the body” ought to be interrogated, and the abolition of gender itself.
