ABSTRACT
This chapter explores the evolving role of military leadership and training in the context of 21st-century high-tech warfare, characterised by the rapid advancement of transformative technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, cyber warfare, and autonomous systems. These developments are reshaping global military strategy, challenging traditional Western military supremacy, and requiring a fundamental shift in leadership styles. This chapter emphasises the critical importance of transformational leadership, which fosters innovation, adaptability, and long-term vision, over conventional transactional approach. Additionally, it highlights the importance of cultural awareness, continuous education, and the human dimension of leadership in navigating modern security challenges.
