ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the concept of mondialization, distinguishing it from globalization by emphasizing its geo-historical precedence and multidisciplinary cognitive approach. It examines both political and non-political initiatives aimed at preventing war and promoting global peace, highlighting the Olympic movement as a precursor to political peace efforts. By employing an anthropological parallel, the chapter underscores the critical role of educational theories in cultivating a culture of peace. Through this lens, it discusses how education can be leveraged to foster global understanding and cooperation.
