ABSTRACT
This chapter introduces the terms of knowledge politics and micro-politics of knowledge as used within the context of the sociology of knowledge approach to discourse (SKAD). Based on an empirical study of the regulation of prostitution in Germany between 2001 and 2020, various forms of such micro-politics of knowledge are examined.
