ABSTRACT

The human drive to create and produce artistic and intellectual outputs has shaped societies and cultures through artforms such as music, art, and literature, while also contributing to scientific discovery, technological innovation, and social progress (Weisberg, 2016). These efforts have often been closely tied to technological progress. In the past decade, however, creativity has entered a new and unfamiliar relationship with technology. Artificial intelligence (AI) systems have enabled novel modes of artistic expression, allowed for innovative ways of co-creation, changed creative industries, and challenged fundamental assumptions about the definition and perception of creativity (Moruzzi, 2022).
