ABSTRACT
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries are undergoing a pivotal phase of economic and social transformation, with a growing emphasis on sustainable development and green infrastructure. This shift opens significant opportunities for infrastructure collaboration between China and the GCC. China’s strengths in transport infrastructure development, energy infrastructure collaboration, and digital infrastructure creation, coupled with its expertise in large-scale construction and state-backed financial instruments, leave it well positioned to cooperate with GCC countries. China and the GCC countries should strengthen their cooperation by focusing on shared priorities such as sustainable development, energy security, and infrastructure modernization. Enhanced trade and investment frameworks, knowledge-sharing programs, and technology partnerships will solidify their long-term economic ties and mutual development goals.
