ABSTRACT
In this chapter Maualaivao Maima Koro and Joanne Wallis consider the prospects for security cooperation in the Pacific Islands region. They argue that regional solidarity is the key to the Pacific’s response to recent security challenges. They identify prospects for harnessing opportunities and addressing challenges as the region tracks towards its 2050 Strategy on the Blue Pacific Continent goals.
