ABSTRACT
The Feminoteka Foundation was established in 2005 and is one of the major Polish non-government organisations focused on women's rights. This chapter, authored by social activists and Feminoteka's employees, builds on the organisation's versatile experience in working with cross-sectoral collaborators, ranging from international agencies through business and corporate allies to academic institutions. Due to Feminoteka's specific focus on gender-based violence and female survivors of sexual violence, the recent years of the full-scale war in Ukraine brought about new challenges and practices, as the organisation has been providing multi-scale support to the Ukrainian women escaping both the atrocities of war and domestic violence and looking for shelter in Poland. The aim of the authors is to share the lessons learnt in the volatile environment and present alternative ways of finding help through partnerships and to show methods of raising awareness of women rights and providing support to vulnerable females. Thus, this chapter provides examples of various alliances along with insights into Feminoteka's experimental solutions in terms of social economy and innovation as well as in the area of art-based interventions, including art therapy, exhibitions, and photo book. Some of the activities discussed are inherent parts of the ReIncluGen project which exploited and further enhanced the creative and collaborative potential of Feminoteka's team.
