ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we will discuss the opportunity that connector programmes provide, starting with Luis Enrique’s story of grief and loss, and then continue with the role of social capital and infrastructure known as treasure mapping. We will go on to write about the role of connectors from Frome in Somerset and the biological impact of compassion. The chapter concludes by examining an example from Princess Alice Hospice in Surrey, UK and how they introduced a connector programme into their hospice.
