ABSTRACT

The evolution of techniques and technologies in data visualisation has been rapid, driven by the increasing complexity and abundance of datasets. As visualisation techniques and tools become more sophisticated, there is a pressing need to train future researchers and update experienced researchers with the competencies necessary to harness the full potential of these advances. This article addresses the integration of Lifelong Learning within data visualisation in research, focusing specifically on developing training to improve decision-making and effectively using these techniques and technologies in data visualisation. Therefore, this work proposed a Reference Framework for Data Visualization and a technological tool as an educational product in Education 4.0 that can be implemented in lifelong learning programs. The proposed educational product seeks to close the knowledge gap by providing a versatile platform adapted to researchers' current needs and challenges in data visualisation. As a main contribution, the presented frameworks are pertinent and adequate to provide researchers and data analyst practitioners of data analytics in the digital era with a comprehensive guide to effectively use data visualisation tools in our data-driven world.
