ABSTRACT
This chapter conducts an analysis of the manner in which mounting environmental complexity – defined by climate, social, economic, and technological crises – impels a substantial transformation of organizations. The text emphasizes that sustainability is no longer a marginal goal but rather a systemic and ethical capacity that integrates worker well-being, resilience, and long-term vision. The text employs theories of complexity, the Anthropocene, and resilience to demonstrate that organizations must adopt adaptive, collaborative, and regenerative models. The 2030 Agenda and the SDGs provide a global framework within which strategies, governance, innovation, and partnerships can be guided, with the promotion of sustainable development and shared value being a key objective.
