ABSTRACT
Since its establishment in 2013, the Qingdao Film and Television Base has developed rapidly and now has world-class facilities, gathering more than 960 film and television enterprises. It has produced over 300 works and earned box office revenue of more than 30 billion yuan for its blockbuster films. The base creates a ‘Six Ones’ film and television supply chain system (六个一工程), which includes one base, one network, one fund, one market, one brand and one talent pool, through market-oriented service platforms and industrial chain collaboration, promoting the coordinated development of the upstream and downstream of the film and television industry. The base drives innovation by holding film and television festivals, emphasising content creation and producing high-quality works to enhance its influence. The base will be expanded to build a digital and film city, establish an international standard system for film and television industrialisation and support more domestic and foreign film and television creations.
