ABSTRACT
This chapter highlights the deep interconnectedness between people, their livelihoods with nature, and the challenge of adapting to climate change by joint convergent action for building sustainable futures in rural Bundelkhand. The discussion is premised on the need for wider recognition of this interdependence. By showcasing the successful efforts of six NGOs working together to restore Bundelkhand's historic water tanks, the chapter makes a case for widespread community-led and government-supported convergent initiatives. Such integrated action not only strengthens local livelihoods but also promotes the sustainable management of vital natural resources like soil and water.
