ABSTRACT
The chapter reflects on one of the dimensions of leadership of Volodymyr Zelenskyy – the axiological dimension. The aim of the chapter is to present Zelenskyy through the lens of the axiological dimension of leadership. The theoretical aspect of axiological leadership was pointed out, and the concept of servant leadership was also evoked. The authors draw attention to the process of formation of Zelenskyy’s leadership, pointing to two qualitative stages – before the full-scale war and after the war. The analyses carried out authorise the conclusion that Zelenskyy’s leadership is based on values, among which are courage, patriotism, and inclusive communication with society. To achieve the objective of this study, the following research questions were formulated: what are the characteristics of the axiological dimension of leadership? How was Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership formed before the start of the full-scale war? How was the axiological dimension of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s leadership formed after the outbreak of full-scale war in Ukraine? In order to achieve the research objective and answer the research questions, historical methods, source research, and content analysis are used.
