ABSTRACT
The COVID-19 pandemic significantly reshaped global education systems, causing disruptions and challenges for students across the world. Indian students, who have long been a prominent group in international education, were not immune to these disruptions. However, as the world slowly emerges from the grip of the pandemic, there is an observable shift in the patterns of Indian students migrating abroad for higher education. This chapter explores the trends, challenges, and motivations behind Indian students’ search for education in a post-COVID-19 world. By analyzing key factors such as the impact of online learning, changing international policies, and the evolving educational landscape, this research aims to offer a comprehensive view of how Indian students are redefining their educational journeys abroad in a post-pandemic era.
