ABSTRACT
In the last decade, there has been a greater awareness of the need for contributions from experts with lived experience of trauma. At the same time, the biggest area of heat and complexity has been over the trans experience, installed dissociation and organised extreme abuse. This chapter is an interview between a British psychoanalyst Valerie Sinason and a trans male, S. J. William, who is white, educated and a victim of mind control, ritual abuse and professional abuse. His clear understanding of these issues underlines the importance of listening to lived experience.
