ABSTRACT

The pandemic has affected the world in more ways than one. On the one hand, social relations got disrupted and innumerable families suffered bereavement of their loved ones. On the other hand, the most intrinsic parts of a person’s life were affected beyond measure. For example, students lost their access to continuing education. This chapter traces the stories of a few such students who belong to the primary education sector or the university education sector and the challenges they faced along the way. It talks about the issues of achieving actual learning when the traditional methods of classroom teaching were replaced. It also discusses the changes instructors had to make to their syllabus and curriculum, to make learning possible for their students. The chapter suggests a system that may accommodate these special circumstances of students and infrastructure alike, along with providing a method for effective evaluation and monitoring.
