ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the author captures the effects that the COVID-19 pandemic had on Indian legal education, by way of depicting the stories of certain protagonists who represent various stakeholders within the sector. It is hoped that readers will be able to identify with some elements of these stories and draw analogies with their own experiences. The sudden onslaught of the pandemic and the resulting lockdown and restrictions posed multiple obstacles in the legal education sector in a developing and highly populated country like India. Certain solutions were suggested by the use of technology, yet those solutions brought specific challenges. The pandemic also ushered in certain practices that may augur well for the future of legal education, provided those are adopted in a sustainable manner in the post-pandemic world too.
