ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the lives of several musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic and how they managed to continue their artistry under quarantine lockdown. Isolation has increased the use of technological innovation for the way people study, work, shop, dine in, create lifestyles, and more. COVID-19 managed to accelerate time spent online getting information, studying, gaming entertainment, and living on social media. One can imagine how musicians handle audience online audio and video, and continue to perform their craft. This chapter looks at several musicians facing these sorts of problems, to get their perspective on how COVID-19 altered their professional lives. These people gather resilience from technology’s support for their craft and the community values that led them to inspire creativity in their lives and in others.
