ABSTRACT

The pervasive influence of technology has significantly transformed our lifestyles and social interactions. With smartphones omnipresent, we continually encounter a plethora of tools and applications, such as social networks, that alter our perception of reality and global connectivity. Even the realm of education has undergone modifications, with technology amplifying the array of stimuli students encounter. Nevertheless, engaging students in the learning process has become a challenge, as they may display a lack of interest in specific subjects or conventional teaching techniques. This discussion asserts that integrating technology into education, particularly AI-based tools, presents both potential hazards, such as the introduction of biases or unintended data collection, and significant advantages in terms of enhancing interactions with students.

This research investigates the multifaceted impact of technology-driven approaches, particularly the integration of robotics, in educational settings. It explores how these approaches can create opportunities for students to engage with technology and enhance their educational experiences. With a primary focus on primary and secondary schools, the study aims to uncover how the use of robotics influences students’ academic performance in STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). The goal is to reveal how robotics can stimulate students’ interest, deepen their understanding, and improve their proficiency in these crucial disciplines. Ultimately, this research seeks to provide valuable insights for enriching students’ educational journeys and promoting cross-cultural connections in today’s evolving educational landscape.
