ABSTRACT
The integration of digitisation, Big Data, artificial intelligence, and digital media in cultural heritage research has marked a new era of digital intelligence revitalisation, merging science, technology, and culture. The digital age has transformed humanities research by maintaining critical analysis while incorporating scientific rigour and experimental argumentation, sparking a boom in digital humanities research. However, the digital intelligence environment poses challenges in organising digital resources, applying digital methods, and transforming research paradigms in humanities research. Consequently, the concept of the laboratory is undergoing transformation. Theatre, as an original laboratory model, is evolving with digital intelligence to innovate humanities research paradigms. The digital humanities laboratory, which is oriented towards authenticity, verifiability, and reproducibility, has become an experimental space with theatrical elements. Through a brand-new theatre design, this chapter introduces the digital deduction theatre, an experimental methodological framework for digital intelligence revitalisation of cultural heritage. This framework represents a new humanistic experimentation paradigm driven by digital intelligence and digital humanities concepts that support cultural heritage research infused with historical, cultural, scientific, and artistic knowledge.
