ABSTRACT
DRIVER II focuses on the aggregation and interoperability of Enhanced Publications (EPs) throughout European digital repositories. Whereas the focus of DRIVER was on purely textual publications, in DRIVER II EPs, which contain many more data formats, will be integrated into the DRIVER infrastructure. This part of the report looks into data models and theoretical frameworks for EPs, and experiences with building an EP demonstrator. Also the long-term preservation aspects of EPs are studied.
