ABSTRACT
The significant growth in mobile data traffic has prompted researcher and designer to develop a powerful next generation wireless network i.e. 5G as current wireless networks are reaching their limits. The mobile communication network of fifth generation (5G) has received extensive consideration as its aim lies in providing ultra high reliability, low latency, capacity enhancement, massive connectivity and significant enhancement in quality of service(QoS) as compared to current 4G LTE network. To meet these requirements, major changes must be made in the design of the cellular network. Various new technologies immerging as foundation of 5G cellular network are addressed in this paper. This paper also represents the evolution, 5G network architecture, features, requirement and emerging applications of 5G.
