ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the cybersecurity in Smart Cities, applied to lighting systems in cities, compiling historical data, and applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to detect potential future threats. The digitization of the economy has been a reality for a long time and new products and services that aim to make life easier for citizens and companies have been developed, automating processes or facilitating remote management. In addition, taking advantage of the amount of information on internet websites, the progress made with Artificial Intelligence techniques is presented to retrieve content from different web portals and verify the quality of the hosted data. Smart Lighting systems constitute an application of the Internet of Things in Smart Cities.
