ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the vital importance for the region of Andalusia, due to its surface area, the importance of agriculture as a result of its climatic conditions, and tourism reflected in the large number of tourists that the region receives annually, attracted by its historical heritage, the sun, and the beach. The productivity and efficiency of these products and services should mark the roadmap for the coming years, consolidating existing industries, as well as emerging new ones in the market niches that arise with the digital transformation. The chapter presents case studies such as the planning of maintenance activities in water distribution networks in urban centers, using Machine Learning techniques, to reduce pipe substitutions and prioritize heritage management that minimizes the impact of incidences of breakages. Finally, the use of digital spatial techniques in the knowledge and conservation of archaeological sites and historical architecture is presented.
