ABSTRACT
In this work, an own calculation module, written in Python and based on a numerical method for processing elements, which solves the issues of plane deformation within the framework of a linear elastic soil model. The right-hand side vector and the local stiffness matrix construction algorithms are provided. The Dirichlet and Neumann boundary conditions are taken into account using various methods that are described. The analytical solutions to the elastic problem of the stress-strain half-space and the Plaxis software are compared with the calculation results obtained by solving the problem with the calculation module. The results obtained by the developed numerical solution converge with the analytical solutions and with the results obtained in the Plaxis software package.
