ABSTRACT
Modern lifestyles and fast-moving domains have resulted in huge waste material in geo-environmental. One of the major wastes is plastic waste material, which becomes a potential material to transmit pollutants/contaminants in the biosphere world. Discarding the plastic waste in landfill/dumpsites will increase CO2 emissions and affect various environmental lives. Scientists are continuously sprouting an innovative way to reuse plastic waste and safe discarding of waste material. Recent studies have shown that reusing this material in different systems will improve the material quality and reduce production costs. Some plastic material waste, like PET, is used as a stabilizer in soil, improving the weaker soil to withstand loads. Non-reusable plastic waste material can also be reduced in the pyrolysis method with low emission of CO2 emission and combustion by-products like fuel, gas, etc., can be reused again. This research explores the review of a new method of recycling plastic waste in recent years in the geo-environment, such as soil stabilization, replacing the material and pyrolysis. Various test results have been conducted and compared with different plastic types and shapes. Some research on replacing plastic waste with brick materials has been conducted in previous studies.
