ABSTRACT
The reason for the review of analog filter design before pursuing with digital filter design is twofold. Analog filters are used as anti-aliasing filters and reconstruction filters in digital signal processing. Secondly, a popular design method of IIR filters is through special transformation of analog prototype filters to digital filters. Therefore, it is necessary to be able to specify, design, and implement analog filters.
