ABSTRACT

Net zero emissions is a global target that involves all people, and everyone is impacted by climate change and the progress toward net zero. The United Nations’ sustainable development goals are important because they affect the quality of life for people. The effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions must include the transition from war to peace in order to reduce emissions and expenditures associated with wars. The Earth Charter provides principles for peaceful living that are appropriate for all communities. The annual meetings of the Conference of the Parties (COP) are very important because decisions are made that impact the efforts to reach net zero.
