ABSTRACT
There are many efforts that are in progress with respect to the transitions that are important to reach net zero. Many people are driving electric vehicles. The amount of renewable electric power from wind and solar is increasing. There are many positive transitions being reported, such as the new emission standards for U.S. heavy-duty vehicles. There are new publications related to decarbonization that have new content by authors from many countries. The U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine have a new report on accelerating decarbonization. Many companies are attempting to become net zero companies, and there is progress in developing standards to use for this.
