ABSTRACT

This paper describes a specific Inventory and Inspection System development with BIM (Building Information Modeling) applications for visual inspection data management and BMS (Bridge Management System) strategies development within a Bridge and Asset Management System implementation process. The specific Inventory and Inspection System is SINA ASTM company inspection system and its integration is developed within a collaboration with Archimede srl company, performing BIM and digital transformation. The paper focuses on a methodology for the dynamic management of infrastructures, ordinary maintenance and predictive maintenance, with a view to Asset Management development. Bim implementation, with the specific BIM use identification, other than design and construction, focused on inventory and inspection data organization, management, and capitalization. Typical Asset management KPIs are defined and business intelligence dashboards are implemented, also connected to BIM models. Asset Management System processes are developed developing scenarios and maintenance optimization processes towards network safety assurance.
