ABSTRACT
Three different types of accelerometers have been used to measure vibrations in a controlled environment. They are IEPE piezo-electric accelerometers, Variable Capacitance Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems (VC MEMS) accelerometers, and optical fiber Bragg grating (FBG) accelerometers. This paper presents the equipment and setups used to perform the measurements, the results, and some limitations and technical aspects not explored.
