ABSTRACT

A number of problems concerning the long-term performance degradation of concrete structures was investigated in this paper. The environmental effect, cyclic load performance and sustained load performance subjected to concrete structures were taken as the research objects. Focusing on key issues in the life-cycle of structures, including the complex effects model, degradation mechanism, damage model, limit state, and design method, the long-term performance of concrete structures were investigated. Furthermore, the damage index and life prediction model of long-term performance were established., The internal damage law under coupling effect of long-term performance such as durability, fatigue performance and deformation performance were revealed. The unified damage index of long-term performance and a life-cycle design method for concrete structures considering the time-varying reliability were proposed. Finally, the verification calculation was performed, and the results showed the model’s applicability in predicting the service life of the specimen.
