ABSTRACT

Aids to Navigation are important marks and guides for navigation, playing a crucial role in ship navigation and maritime safety. With the development of technology, Aids to Navigation technology continues to be updated and developed. This article explores the future development directions of Aids to Navigation through research and analysis of Aids to Navigation technology and its applications. Firstly, it introduces the definition and classification of Aids to Navigation (key directions for the development of navigational aids include networked Aids to Navigation, intelligent Aids to Navigation, and green Aids to Navigation), and focuses on the current common Aids to Navigation technology. Next, it analyzes the development trends of Aids to Navigation technology, including the use of drones for Aids to Navigation inspections, the employment of artificial intelligence technology to enhance Aids to Navigation monitoring capabilities, and the integration of Aids to Navigation with other navigation systems. Finally, it discusses the challenges and strategies for the development of Aids to Navigation technology, as well as the vision and application of new types of Aids to Navigation (characteristics and advantages of advanced technologies such as radar Aids to Navigation, satellite Aids to Navigation, and unmanned Aids to Navigation). It is hoped that this article can provide a certain reference for Aids to Navigation management and technological research.
