ABSTRACT
Nanomedicine represents a widely adopted and extensively utilized technology aimed at enhancing healthcare standards, primarily through the application of nanotechnology. Drug delivery systems have significantly leveraged nanotechnology to improve therapeutic outcomes for numerous diseases. Due to its many applications, this technology has garnered increasing interest in the medical field over the past few decades. By developing nanoscale carriers capable of delivering therapeutic substances directly to specific cells or tissues, nanotechnology enables the creation of drug delivery systems at the molecular level. This chapter examines the transformative impact of nanotechnology on the development of novel drug therapy delivery.
