ABSTRACT

Back through the pandemic coronavirus disease in 2019 has affected Indonesian society in ways that are difficult to record in a timely manner. This study uses daily survey data collected from the pandemic's beginning to examine the hypothesis that the pandemic has affected the psychological well-being of home-schooled children. In addition, the discrepancies in regional life caused by the crisis are investigated. Also explored are the disparities in regional living created by the crisis. The purpose of this nationwide study was to ascertain how the epidemic influenced the psychological well-being of Indonesian children until 2020. This study was conducted with 900 parents who had children between the ages of 5 to 6 in East Java, West Java, Madura, and Sumatra Province in Indonesia. This study influenced the government's policies regarding online education, namely the Indonesian Ministry of Education. Additionally, the school should address the emotional health of the students.
